HAPPY NEW YEAR, AGAIN! :)
I have a new layout to share with you today which features 12 of my favorite memories from 2019, all on one year-in-review page and I used Truly Grateful for everything.
I began by choosing a favorite photo from every month in 2019 - this was easy because on the first of every month I do a blog post of our monthly highlights, so I opened all 12 of those blog posts, picked a single photo from every post, and then created a collage with those 12 photos. I printed the pics on my Canon Pro-100 on Photo Paper and then trimmed out the photos.
The B-side of Paper 22 is full of colorful frames. I made a similar layout with a similar paper from Pick-Me-Up - what can I say, frames papers are perfect for layouts like this! I placed the 12 photos inside the frames and then adhered them in place with foam squares for dimension. Then I printed the months in my favorite font Remington Noiseless at size 8 and glued each month on its coordinating photo. Time to embellish!
I grabbed a new pack of everything from Truly Grateful: 2x2 Paper Pads, Thickers, Cardstock Stickers, Puffy Stickers, Puffy Phrase Stickers, Epoxy Stickers, Floral Die Cuts, Ephemera Die Cuts, Journaling Spots, Wooden Buttons, and Mixed Embellishments. I tried to find things that would fit inside each frame and made sense. You can see in the video my thought process for embellishing. This is the fun part of scrapbooking - it's like a game trying to find the perfect missing piece and it's such a "ta-da!" moment when the piece is found that works.
Journaling in a larger frame with quick captions of each photo finishes up this layout that came together super quickly & easily! Frames for the win! This will be the perfect intro page or even outro page to my 2019 scrapbook. Thanks for stopping by, let me know if you have any questions and see you again soon!
