I was invited by Llanet from @topknotsandjesus to teach a coptic bookbinding class at her Look Up! Retreat in Orlando last month, so we made a whole family trip out of it!
28 amazing, inspiring, uplifting ladies came from literally all over the world to attend. There were actually two ladies who live right by me - funny we met all the way in Florida!
We got right to work making a coptic book. The first half is a bit difficult, but we all made it through!
I got to see Paula @psplannergirl again! Extra special since she's on my cut file design team now :)
LaQuisha @confidentcanvas is beautiful inside and out!
And of course, my favorite part, lining up all the pretty books in a row! We all learned the same technique, but they all turn out a little different because of paint colors and charm choices. Makes my heart so happy to see everyone leave with a handmade coptic book and hopefully a new hobby!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous room to create pretty things with fabulous woman! It looked like so much fun. I hope you can return to travel and classes sometime in the not to distant future. The scrappy world needs to have your visits to look forward too !! Being socially creative is the heart and soul of so many, me included, it's what I'll miss most in the coming days. xK
