Leaf Wreath Layout

Wednesday, May 6, 2020

Hey there! I have a new wreath layout to share with you using Bloom Street!
I started by cutting out leaves from the multi-patterned Paper 07 and gently folded them in the middle to create dimension. Then I glued the leaves in rainbow order in a wreath onto scratch cardstock. While the glue was drying, I splashed watered down white acrylic paint onto the aqua B-side of Paper 06.
Once all the glue and paint dried, I cut out out the wreath from the scratch cardstock and glued it with foam squares onto the patterned background. I tucked a photo into the left side and journaled with a white pen on the right side.
To embellish, I used all of the flower Enamel Dots tone-on-tone and placed the white glittered Enamel Dots around the outside of the wreath. I pulled sentiments from the Cardstock Stickers and 4-Page Sticker Book and also placed them tone-on-tone around the wreath. To finish, I grabbed a "hello" Cardstock Sticker and added it above the photo for the title.
I hope this page inspires you to pick up my Bloom Street collection and create something pretty!

  2. Love me some rainbows and this is really pretty! The white splatter lifts it all up, I really must master that technique. 🥰k
