Hey there! I have a new quick'n'easy layout to share with you today featuring a large title (LOVE THIS GIRL cut file) and a package of Floral Die Cuts from my Bloom Street collection. This layout came together super quickly and yields beautiful results which is always a win in my book!
Here is a process video to show how this layout came together:
I started by die cutting my LOVE THIS GIRL cut file from smooth white cardstock. I trimmed around the negative title and washi taped it to the center of a pink textured cardstock background. One by one, I added dimensional foam squares onto the backs of the positive letters and placed them in their coordinating negative position on the background. Then I carefully peeled off the negative background to reveal the positive letters secured in place! Magic! I love the deep shadows using such thick adhesive creates across the page.
I found a photo of me and Jane and added it under the "O". Next, I grabbed a brand new package of Floral Die Cuts and placed almost every single piece around the layout, not adhering them yet. Once I liked the placement, I took a picture of the page with my phone to refer back to just in case anything got shifted around. I added a touch of realism to the flowers and leaves by gently bending up the petals and folding the leaves in half before attaching them in place with more foam squares but these ones were thinner than the kind I used on the letters to create not as much dimension.
The last step was to add journaling. I decided I wanted it on the top right section but a leaf was in the way so I carefully nudged it up a bit, wrote a few lines with a pencil, decided I did indeed want the journaling there, and then wrote the caption with a white paint pen by Sharpie. Done! Seriously took only about 45 minutes from start-to-finish.
I hope you are inspired to pick up my LOVE THIS GIRL cut file and Bloom Street to document your precious memories today! Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day!
