On Saturday November 13th I taught my first in-person class in almost two years along with my sweet and talented friend Andrea Lake!
I taught a layouts class and she taught a mini album class. It was an amazing day.
We met a week beforehand to prep the goodie bags. First we made some buttons.
We commissioned Emily Inspired Designs to create a custom charm for each attendee. So cute.
Andrea used her amazing skills to create this welcome sign.
Pic or it didn't happen! :)
The next Saturday was the big day! Andrea thought of so many things that took the event to the next level like this photobooth.
I've had these apothecary jars since Fox's first birthday party and any chance I get to use them is a win.
Jessica from Color Cast Designs came and set up a table for her cute pop up shop.
We attached the rest of the buttons to the bags, put the kits inside, and placed one at everyone's spot. We got to spread out which was so nice, everyone got a 6 foot table.
Before class we had a meet-and-greet and early bird shopping. I brought my basement sale goodies.
People from all over Colorado came and others traveled all the way from California, Idaho, Michigan, Utah, and more. We all needed this! It'd been way too long :)
A helper husband working on the hand stitching.
I loved seeing how people changed things, such as the background patterned paper.
Some brought printers and scrapped a photo from right then and there! AWESOME!
Andrea taught her mini album class in the afternoon then we had a crop from 5-9pm.
It was a fun-filled day from start-to-finish!
We're already planning the next event for the end of April, hopefully a 2-day event, stay tuned!!
