The 2nd of the 12 Days of Love Cut Files went out to those who purchased them! Here is a layout I created with today's Heart Grid Cut File:
Watch the process video to see how this layout came together from start-to-finish:
I used my older Bloom Street collection for this layout as well as a few mixed media techniques!
SUPPLIES: Patterned papers, stickers, die cuts, embellishments: BLOOM STREET; white cardstock; gesso; white acrylic paint; watercolors
Here is a darling layout made with today's Heart Grid Cut File by Design Team member Valerie Bisson. She says, "For my layout today I created a fun patchwork quilt design complete with hand stitched hearts and some machine stitching. To achieve this look I used lots of different patterned papers from Bungalow Lane and Wonders then added all of the stitching. I embellished my page with chipboard, stickers, and Thickers surrounding my cute photo of a proud moment."
Check out this bonus layout by Design Team member Audrey Mutschall using a second version of the Heart Grid Cut File with the hearts alternating direction. She says, "For this layout I used textured white cardstock for the cut file along with Paige's Bloom Street collection and then played around with different ways to add patterned paper and texture to each of the heart sections. I chose four photos, printed them in black & white, and placed them inside four of the hearts in a diagonal pattern. Next I made dimensional hearts by cutting five hearts from one piece of patterned paper, folding the hearts in half, and then gluing the back half of one heart to the back half of another heart, until all five hearts were glued together (like a little book). I made four of these hearts and adhered them to the cut file. I also made four hearts with rows of scalloped borders which I placed behind the cut file in another four sections. Finally, I added sentiments to another four hearts to serve as little titles. I cut these out, glued them onto another patterned heart, and stitched around them. I hope this inspires you to make a layout with this adorable cut file - it's such a fun design with endless possibilities for how you can use it!"
