The One with Slick Writers

Saturday, April 18, 2009

The In-House Scrapbookers have been hard at work creating samples featuring Slick Writers (pens). Here's the stuff I made:

I outlined parts of the white embossed background cardstock with a black pen, and journaled on the photos. Quick-dry ink and a durable acrylic tip makes this the ideal marker for writing on any surface, including photos, stickers, ribbon, vellum, metal and glass.
And computers...
Oops...
Here's a wooden box that I covered in doodles for storing notes.
A completely hand drawn background featuring my cute niece on her first birthday.
A thank you card with hand drawn flowers and brackets.
I drew the flower thingys and doodled on the Thickers. A simple lovey dovey card with a hand drawn label.
And finally, I know I JUST blogged about this layout, but I made it for this Slick Writer assignment. The clouds, tree, roses and grass are all hand drawn and cut out. I've decided that I really enjoy using pens on my layouts! It adds an artistic touch.
