Just a friendly reminder that anyone else who wants to come, just email me :) The class is on Saturday and I'm super duper pooper excited!
Hark! I want to share some pearls of wisdom in the form of bookbinding! Here are the deets:
Who: Anyone over the age of 12 living in Utah (or maybe just visiting for the weekend, or maybe you can fly/drive out here just for the occasion :)
What: Learn how to make a book using a copic style binding. This type of bookbinding is fun because you can create the cover from a variety of materials: wood, plexiglass, cardstock, binder's board, tile - if you can drill holes through it, you can use it as a cover. And there's no glue involved!
Where: Somewhere in Utah County, TBD, depending on how many are interested - I will let you know a few days prior to the workshop.
When: Saturday, August 8th 2009, from 10am-4pm, or shorter depending on how fast peeps finish.
Cost: $20 plus cost of materials which you'll buy beforehand and bring to the workshop (around $40).
How: Email me at paigetaylorevans at gmail dot com if you are interested in attending or have any questions.
Notes: I will provide pizza for lunch. I will give you a detailed list of instructions so you can continue making books for the rest of your life. AAAAANNNND I will give you a copy of detailed instructions on how to make a regular, flat case style book.
PS: Check out my website - paigebooks.googlepages.com - to see examples of books I've made (including the ones in the top picture and pictures below)
