The American Crafts Contributing Design Team was challenged to make a layout or card using only these four products!
Usually my supply lists are a mile long so I was kind of nervous but excited to see if I could make a layout with such limited supplies and still have it feel like my style. I think by using almost an entire pack of thickers, lots of the chipboard shapes, and lots of photos, I was able to accomplish the challenge. I also tried something fun: instead of cutting the butterflies completely out of the patterned paper, I used an exacto knife and only cut partially around the wings then bent them up for dimension. Here's a close-up of what the butterflies look like coming off the page:
Make sure to head to the American Crafts Studio Blog to see my layout in its entirety AND to check out lots of other gal's projects! I'm amazed at the versatility and all the different styles that came from just these four products.

ReplyDeleteLOVE it!!! Especially the butterflies! You're too fast though - hadn't gotten round to leaving a comment on your grim awakening yesterday...if it's any consolation, I had to change a VERY stinky nappy/diaper at 12.20am that very same night... Anyway page is gorgeous and am so impressed at the minimal materials you used! xx
