(Is it fixed?)
Here is a layout I made about my first crush for the Showcase section of Scrapbook Trends April 2010. Photography by Katie Butler and Kristy Clarke.

FIRST CRUSH

Journaling says: Kindergarten is way too early to be thinking about boys, but nonetheless, I remember my first crush when I was 6. His name was Colin Willoughby and we used to play together on the swing sets and jungle gym at Strawberry Park Day Care. I also remember he would break the heads off my Barbie dolls. Signs of flirtation? I don't know...I remember that one day he didn't come to school and found out he moved. I never heard from him again. I tried looking him up on Facebook just to say hi (like he'd even remember me...) but I couldn't find him. That's okay. I'm so glad my mom took this picture so I can always remember my very first crush on a boy :)

Supplies: Cardstock: American Crafts, Kraft; Patterned paper: American Crafts, Elle's Studio, GCD Studios, Pebbles; Pearl brads, buttons, badges, felt flowers, fabric chipboard letter stickers, chipboard frame, pen, adhesive: American Crafts; Journaling spot stamps: Elle's Studio; Ink: StazOn

  1. I don't know if I'm the only one that's finding this problem, but I can't make the layout picture show up. And it doesn't work if I click it either. Thought you might want to know!

  4. aww thats so cute!! so sad that he moved away though. :( im so glad your mom has a pic of you two to remember him by, you were adorable! I think it would be hilarious if his mom was a reader of scrapbook trends or something and freaks when she sees a photo of her son in her magazine, lol!!
