The Newness of Spring

Tips: I watched Confessions of a Shopaholic one-and-a-half times while scrapping this. I wrote the title backwards on patterned papers, cut the letters out with a craft knife, then glued them with pop dots. For the flowers I snipped slits out of three of the new large journaling spots, snipped slits out of three of the regular journaling spots, stamped flowers on matching colors of product packaging, then layered them all together. I drew a scalloped border around the edge of the layout with a white marker and wrote the journaling underneath with a black pen.

Journaling says: I love spring. The fresh air, the birds singing, the flowers blooming. I feel like anything is possible with the arrival of spring. It's a time to start over. A time of new beginnings. I love being able to walk around in a plain t-shirt cuz it's not too hot and not too cold - the weather is perfect. Everything feels clean and new. Not to mention spring is the season of new baby animals. Simply put, I love the newness of spring!
