This is a re-post from the awesome decor8 blog. For a very pretty penny (I'm talking like $8000), you can own one of these oh-so-fabulous fabric-covered creations from the UK-based Squint Limited. Each piece is unique and a testament to the nature of couture craftsmanship.
"The fabrics used are woven English damasks and shot silver and gold satins with Swarovski rose crystal and pearl detailing. Trimmings are 18th and 19th century from France with woven silver and gold thread. The accessories range includes mirrors and lighting wrapped with Japanese ceremonial Kimono silks which have been embroidered and appliquéd and finished with turn of the century lavender glass beads."
I wonder if they could wrap a crib???? Must. Start. Saving. Now.
I saw these on the decor8 blog the other day and thought they were fabulous! I want the sofa in the second photo from the top on the right.
ReplyDeleteI saved some of these pictures because I thought they'd be a great inspiration piece for a paper crafting project.
That's cool stuff!
