You know what's fun and helps down time at work go by lightening fast? Directing my web browser (I use Google Chome, of course) to etsy and searching for "baby boy". Hundreds and hundreds of items come up and I love browsing through page after page of adorable cuteness. It gets me really excited about decorating the nursery. I think you'll love it more if you make it yourself... with the exception of the quilt. And that's only b/c I don't know the first thing about quilting and it looks terribly complicated. lol. Do it all if you know how to quilt though!!

I have been so bad about blogging these last several months (hence, the last pics I posted on our blog were from Christmas), so I just saw your news on here. It has been so fun to have a boy first for us, and you will love it too. I am sure that you will do a great job on decorating the nursery! Since you are a very talented artist yourself, I have no doubts that you will make all sorts of wonderful things for the room, BUT in the event that you would ever like me to paint you anything then please let me know. :) What I do A TON of for people that you may be interested in, are handpainted drawer knobs (in either round knobs or square knobs) so let me know if that is something you have a need for! :) allsquaredupart.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI need to really update both my blog and etsy site with new pics of what I have done as of late. I just finished painting a really cute colorful set for someone of drawer knobs, curtain rod finials, and wallplates.
