The One with the On-the-Scene Scrapbooking

Saturday, July 17, 2010

I worked at an on-the-scene scrapbooking event last night. Actually getting to the location was an adventure in and of itself. Every road I tried to drive up was blocked by a gate or a bar that needed a code. Luckily someone else who had already been to the party came to one of the locked gates and I followed her to the right place. Alls I know is, if you have a view that looks like this:

life must be pretty good!

The theme for this event was Alice In Wonderland - a popular choice this year!

Check out the Mad-Hatter! He looks exactly like Johnny Depp!

What party would be complete without a bouncy ball floaty thing (whatever they're called...)

trained weimaraners:

and a synchronized swimming routine?

Here's the area where I worked. We scrapbooked pictures taken in front of the scenery right then and there so the guest of honor will have an album full of memories at the end of the night.

Of course Cindy and I had to get a couple pics for our own scrapbooks. Ever wondered what I'd look like with bleach blonde hair??

  3. These are my fave of your posts. I can only dream of seeing such parties and I dream them via you. There are perks to living in CA! One day I'm throwing one like it... and you'll be there as a guest, not the scrapbooker!

  5. I have never heard of such a thing, but what a great idea. By the looks of it they had enough money for EVERYTHING.
