I'd like to introduce the newest member of the Evans family: Bob
Actually, we don't name our cars, but if we did, I would call this car Bob. Cuz it's funny.
Chris has been doing his proper research on cars ever since we paid off the other car. He finally decided on a Nissan Altima and we went to the car dealership last weekend to look at one in particular.
Of course we got talked into a different, more expensive, newer version of the car we originally looked at :)
We went to the dealership to check out a 2006 Altima with 63k miles on it and were loving the price and the way it drove and everything about it. As we were sitting down to start talking money the manager came by and told us about a 2009 Altima with 34k miles on it. So we took it for a test drive and it felt gooood. Since it's over a year old the price is almost half of a new Nissan Altima. I'm down. We weighed our options, listed the pros and cons, and decided the newer car was the one for us. We've decided this will be "my" car and will install the car seat for Fox after we get back from Utah.
So we are now officially a two car family. It's about time. Poor Chris has been mooching rides to school off friends for the past year. He can now finally contribute to the carpooling.
And because I can't go more than a day without posting a belly shot:
I'm quite rotund.

I LOVE my altima! The only negative thing I have to say about nissan is their turn radius sucks! It's worse than my mom's huge trucks! But really if I didnt get lost so much it wouldnt be a problem at all. ;) And I am jealous! I LOVE the 2009 model! After I bought mine I saw those puppies and was unsatisfied with mine. :( But still happy. It's a great car. congrats!
ReplyDeleteI think it's so funny that you have a Nissan that you would call Bob. My husband and I had a Nissan Sentra that we called Bob. Unfortunately Bob is no longer with us because Bob had too many problems- it was our car during college and he finally died. Have fun with the new car!
ReplyDeleteChris Rock: "Jay-Z may be rollin' the Bentley, but I'm rollin' the Altima!"
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou look great Paige! congrats on the car...have fun in utah
ReplyDeleteWe do name our cars... we're a nerdy family like that. Dan's truck is Cheyanne, my car is Juanita Winterberry, my sister's car is Stormy, and Dan's bro's car is Tighty Whitey.
ReplyDeleteYay, Altima! We love ours too.
