Fox is two months old today! We celebrated by taking him to the doctor because he has a nasty cough and a runny and stuffy nose :( No fun.
Poor little guy.
We're first time parents so we rush him to the doctor for ev.er.y.thing. The doctor said it's just a little cold and to keep squeezing out his snot. Will do.
He has his official two month check up on Thursday so we'll get his legit stats then, but we did weigh and measure him today. He's 12 pounds 3 ounces and 23.5" long. He's gained 4 pounds and grown 4 inches in just two months! Wow they get so big so fast.
So what can Fox do now that he's 2 months old? Not a whole heckuva lot! But still, more than he did at birth.
He can follow us with his eyes.
He can wiggle wiggle wiggle, kick kick kick, and squirm squirm squirm.
He can hold his neck up for a lot longer than he used to be able to.
I can hold him on my hip cuz his head doesn't flop around like it used to, but he doesn't really like it.
And best of all: he can smile for reals. We're still working on getting a legitimate laugh out of him. Any day now!

ReplyDeleteawe he's just so adorable, even with the sniffles... I just want to reach out and hug the stuffin out of him! Enjoy him while he's small, my first "baby" will be 13 in just a few short days
