This morning Erica and I plus our babes Brooklyn and Fox ventured out on an adventure to the Los Angeles Zoo!
I LOVE animals. Always have. Always will. Hopefully Fox will too. Trying to brain wash him early.
Side note: why are the palm tree fronds tied like this?:
Anyways, we saw a scary alligator that looked like it was about to eat us!
We saw a pelican.
We saw ocelots.
We saw goats.
We saw sheep.
We saw ducks (cuz you have to go to the zoo to see those!)
We saw a snake.
We saw meercats.
We saw a ginormous tortoise.
I'm trying to show you how big it is compared to my hand, but I couldn't reach far enough down to touch it so this is a little skewed, it's even bigger IRL.
We saw a tiger that was lookin' right at us.
We saw a cute seal that was swimming upside down.
We saw a hippopotamus.
We saw a snow leopard.
We saw a fence. Or rather, that's what my camera decided to focused on and it's really supposed to be a cute monkey.
We saw a herd of elephants!
Okay, so that's a picture of a picture... but we really did see elephants from afar.
And my favorite animals of the day - flamingos!
Who doesn't love PINK birds?
And last but not least, we saw lots of bums/buttocks/or as Cute Overload calls them: 'tocks.
Fuuuuuuun! Do you think Fox had any idea he was at the zoo?
ReplyDeleteawww! love it. especially the meerkats!
ReplyDeleteVery cute..love the "tocks"...lol
ReplyDeleteI like the tiger!
ReplyDeleteFun day and you took great pictures!!
ReplyDeleteLove the ocelots, it's when you see them curled up sleeping in the sunshine that you realize that all cats are the same, no matter how big/small they are! The goats make me giggle, they always do. And of course, the flamingos. I was so upset the first time Justin and I went to Vegas, there wasn't any outside at the Flamingo. The next time they were there however.
ReplyDeleteI wish the hogle zoo was cool, it is not...in case you are wondering. I might even say it's not even worth going to.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! That's on my to do list. Once spring comes, mom and I are taking Edward to the Washington DC. Zoo!
