How have I never blogged about Yogurtland before? It's only the most amazing self-serve yogurt place in the whole wide world. It was my "go-to" treat when I was pregnant. (So THAT'S why I gained 56 pounds!...). Here's a virtual tour of our recent trip to this land-of-yogurt.
Fox in his carseat (he's almost too big for it!) on the way there.
We made it!
Lemme in lemme in!
Step 1: Choose your bowl size. I've never gotten a big cup, but there are definitely times I'm tempted to!
Step 2: Read the steps.
Step 3: Grab a mini sample cup when you walk in to figure out which flavor/s you want, or, if you're more daring like this gal, just eat it straight out of large cup:
Step 4: Fill your bowl with yummy yogurt.
I get a mix of about five or six flavors including but not limited to strawberry, coconut, pistachio, blueberry, vanilla bean, and some wacky fruity flavor they always change up. I tried a chocolate concoction once, but it was much too rich so I'm back to fruit flavors for good.
Step 5: Add your toppings. Since you are the creator of your own masterpiece, things can quickly get out of control. But I've learned that all fruits are good together so that's what I get.
Step 6: Add your candy toppings. I sprinkle white chocolate chips and that's it. Meanwhile Chris gets gummy bears and sour gummy worms and nerds. I'm married to a 10 year old.
Step 7: Continue to the counter to weigh-in.
Can you guess which one's mine and which one's Chris's?
Step 8: Collect your spoon after paying.
Step 9: Devour.
Great, now I'm craving Yogurtland.
I love yogurtland too! I always get tart yogurt with fruit and mochi on mine =) Mmm. You're not the only one craving some yogurtland now too.
ReplyDeleteWe something similar here but not called Yogurtland. It's delish!
ReplyDeleteYum! We don't have anything fun like that here in CNY. Soooo jealous now. Fox is adorable btw.
ReplyDeleteit is by far the best! being that I cant eat icecream I always feel like I am missing out having to eat yogurt, but man alive is theres yummy!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute picture of Fox!
ReplyDeleteI think it is funny that your husband gets all the candy on his and he is the dentist! LOL
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious!
Seriously that looks too good! I was already wanted frozen yogurt, now I just want it more :) I'd get a fruit one, no sweets!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS POST!! HA HA! I have to admit I was a little surprised that a future "Dentist" would expose his teeth to such sweetness like the worms and nerds!! ha ha ...too funny
ReplyDeleteI've never seen one of these before but it looks oustanding. I broke out in laughter at your comment "I'm married to a 10 year old", that was hilarious!!
ReplyDeleteI distinctly remember you getting the big cup multiple times during the end of your pregnancy...:)
ReplyDeleteAh I love these places... the first one we tried was called "Yogo Togo" in Kaysville, UT. And I was obsessed. I have to say though, in our fam- Joseph gets the fruity bowl, I get the chocolate bowl. I'm a HUGE fan of the candy and sour stuff, but not on my ice cream. But I LOVE the candy bars and carmel and chocolate on my yogurt, so that's what I get. :) Anyway- that's for the congrats on our blog! And YES I want to find out the gender! Joseph is suggesting we not, but I think he'll change his mind when the time comes. If not, I'll just have to keep it a secret from him! (jk- we're finding out!) :)
ReplyDeletethat was supposed to say "Thanks" for the congrats- not "that's" for the congrats. :) Happy Tuesday.
