The other night the sun was setting and I looked out the window and what did I see?
Hot pink clouds!
I quickly grabbed my camera (it's never too far away from arm's reach for moments exactly like this!) and ran outside to snap away.
Nevermind that pollution is what makes such bright and vivid colors - if it weren't for pollution, sunsets wouldn't be nearly as pretty! Therefore, we have LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of beautiful sunsets in LA. :)
Definitely made my top ten list of beautiful sunsets!
you need to experience an arizona sunset. It's full of colors including pinks. It was one of the few things I missed while living in Utah.
ReplyDeleteIt can just be dust in the air.... Well, nevermind. You are in LA.
ReplyDeletethat's awesome!!! I think it's God's way to show us He can create beauty from yuckiness :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I SOOOO remember beautiful sunsets like this! :-) Brings back memories.
ReplyDeleteAnd funny story about smog: When we first moved out of CA (to Colorado, when I was 14), we had a very foggy day, and I said, "Wow, it's so smoggy today!" (I honestly thought they were the same word!) LOL. My dad goes, "Uhh... no. This is FOG. Smog is what they have in California!" LOL. Ah well. :-p
It's the same as AZ. :)
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Beautiful scenes!
ReplyDeleteWonderful intense color captured there.
