Would I rather have a baby that doesn't like to be held or snuggled at all?
or
a baby who doesn't want to be put down ever?
Sometime over the last week Fox decided that he doesn't want to be put down. Ever. Set him down and he, well, cries like a baby! He wants to be held 24/7/365. When he's awake. When he's asleep. When he's eating. When he's pooping, haha.
But, to answer my question at the beginning, I'd rather have it like this than have him not want to be held and snuggled, because I know some day he'll be too big to cuddle.
This is Fox when he was just a few hours old.
He's always been my little snuggler.
He just loves you too much to ever be put down. Tough life! :)
ReplyDeletebut chris... what does that say about YOUR love for paige? maybe she can hold fox in one arm and you in the other?
ReplyDeletenot sure what your classmates would think about that...
Oh what I would give to have a snuggler. Both my kids are not, neither is my husband. The only one who likes to snuggle is my dog and he smells funny. :(
ReplyDeleteOh, hang in there! I know it's tough sometimes. :-) And... he's just so darn cute! ;-)
ReplyDeleteBut hey, Zero to Three... http://www.zerotothree.org/... says that the more "clingy" children are at this age, and they more you hold and snuggle them, the more likely they are to be *independent*, and feel *safe* and *comforted* when it's time for preschool! :-D So, hey... that's super good news!
Keep up the good work, Mama! You're doing awesome! :-)
Your right about someday he being to big to cuddle...my son is 14 and whenever I try to hug him he's like "ma, get out, what the heck are you doing..." ugh...he's still my baby though, luckily my daughter is 11 and she still likes to cuddle and my little guy is 3 and he loves a snuggle...Fox is just the cutest, you are a lucky mom!!
ReplyDeletecutest picture EVER!
ReplyDeleteGive me the snuggler...the rest of the world can wait! Love, Nana
