"They" (aka Hollywood) are always making movies in our neighborhood, more specifically at two houses. (Do they put their houses on a list or something? Why these two houses? There are so many other cool houses around here, so I wonder what the deal is...) One house I blogged about HERE (the one seen in Raising Helen and various commercials). The other house I blogged about HERE (the Home Depot commercial house).
A couple days ago I was going about my normal walk route with Joey and Fox and found the signs that denote filming would begin as stated.
Usually these signs say no parking for around 24 hours, but this was over a course of a few days so I was thinking/hoping they were filming something more prestigious than a commercial. I'm not afraid to walk up to the security guards and ask anymore. What's the worst they could do? Turn me away? Hand cuff me? I hope not... So I asked if it was a movie or commercial and they said it's a five part mini series for breast cancer awareness and the directors are Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Alicia Keyes, and Patty Jenkins (who I've sadly never heard of and she was the one directing at this location). I walked past the filming site several times and never caught a glimpse of anyone I "know."
Here is a little somethin' somethin' I found about this series: "Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys, Demi Moore and Film Independent Spirit Award-winner Patty Jenkins (Monster) are signed to direct the Lifetime Original Movie Project Five, an anthology of five short films exploring the impact of breastcancer on people’s lives. Hollywood powerhouse women, Aniston, Marta Kauffman, Paula Wagner, Kristin Hahn, Kevin Chinoy and Francesca Silvestri will executive produce the Sony Pictures Television production, Project Five, reuniting Aniston and Kauffman for the first time since Friends. The announcement was made today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager of Lifetime Networks, an industry leader in raising awareness about breast cancer. Through its deeply interconnected story arc developed by Kauffman, Project Five will use humor and drama to focus on the effect that breast cancer and its diagnosis have on relationships and the way women perceive themselves, while searching for strength, comfort, medical breakthroughs and, ultimately, a cure." Sounds interesting enough!
I'm still amazed by all the equipment it takes to make a movie.
The house. It looks like most of the filming was done on the inside so I don't know if I'll be able to recognize it if/when I watch the show.
It has a bright red front door though in case they do show the outside.
Sony Pictures! It's legit!
Where the stars hang out?
