Thanks for "hopping" by :)
I first "met" Amy Tan when she joined the American Crafts Contributing Design Team 3 years ago. From day one Amy inspired me with her bright, happy, fun, colorful layouts - just how I like 'em! This layout she made a couple years ago is probably one of my favorite layouts ever.
I met Amy in real life a little over a year ago when she asked me to help her out with scrapbooking-on-the-site at a bat mitzvah. Since then we've scrapped at birthdays, soccer celebrations, bat mitzvahs, bar mitzvahs, and soon a wedding. (I've also worked with her cousin Cindy - seen in a couple pics below.)
Amy has also hooked me up with helping her to scrap for wealthy clients. Basically, I owe her a lot cuz she gives me all of these amazing and priceless opportunities.
Amy knows the best places to eat, shop, where there are great views, photo ops, crafty events, and she's always running into celebrities!
Not to mention, she's a great photographer:
ANNND, on top of it all, she designs and makes t-shirts that have appeared in popular fashion magazines, department stores, and boutiques worldwide! Mr. Fox is lucky enough to own three Amy Tangerines. He's wearing his "Super Star" T in the pic of us on the beach above, and here he is in his other two:
Awww little baby Fox!
I love all the stitching on this anchor T.
Fox and Amy and Lemonade in Venice - home of the beef short rib mac ‘n’ cheese - omg so good.
Basically, Amy Tan is amazing. I think I've made my point and now I'm just coming off as stalkerish. Ha!
You know what else is amazing? American Crafts.
You know what happens when you combine these two amazing things? You get AMY TANGERINE & AMERICAN CRAFTS!
Amy Tangerine is another fresh collection that joins the clean and colorful range of American Crafts products. The line appeals to trendsetters and traditionalists alike and introduces a solid collection of new scrapbooking products. The line is fun, versatile, and appeals to a broad range of interestes from travel, fashion, crafts, and home office, plus quirky elements like sewing machines, silhouettes, and airplanes (SO very Amy!). The line includes 24 patterned papers (8 are either hand-stitched or adhesive fabric-backed), along with new products like fabric stickers, fabric Delights, and shaped paper clips (loooove those!). I get to share a picture of the amazingly-cute-and-I-want-them-right-now fabric brads:
I adore brads in all their shapes, forms, and varieties. They are the perfect finishing touch and you can add one or several to practically any project. Seriously!
To see more products from the new Amy Tangerine & American Crafts line - visit the next blog in this hop: Stephanie Howell (aka Super Woman). She's another lady that I admire with all my heart and her creativity and outlook on life and mama skills and philosophies amaze me.
