The One with I'm One of Those Relief Society Moms

Today in Relief Society I had a moment where everything clicked and my life felt so complete.

Two years ago at this time I remember watching all the young mothers with their babies crawling all over the floor, playing with each other's toys, and getting into mischief and thinking, "I'm so glad that's not me!"
Last year at this time I remember watching all the young mothers with their babies crawling all over the floor, playing with each other's toys, and getting into mischief and thinking, "I'm so excited for when this baby growing in my belly is old enough to play like that!"
Today I was watching all the other young mothers with their babies (mine included!) crawling all over the floor (well, Fox was just sitting, not a crawler yet!), playing with each other's toys, and getting into mischief and thinking, "Wish granted!"

Forgive me for the awkward angles, I felt funny taking pictures during church!

It's so fun being a mom and doing all the things I've seen all the other moms before me do. I know pretty soon Fox probably won't let me sit through 5 minutes of Relief Society and I'll be counting down the days 'til he can be in Nursery. But for now, I'm loving this stage and that he loves interacting with all the (millions of) other babies his age.

  5. Awww! I think that too! My friend is ALWAYS apologizing to me for her little one (well, actually, he moved to Nursery last week...), and I didn't mind at all! He was so fun and sweet to have in there! :-D

    Can.Not.WAIT. :-)

    p.s. Love his little outfit!

It's so crazy you're a mom - I think I remember just joining the ward and you and Chris giving talks about cleaning the church building and you were just pregnant.. and now... Fox is so big! hehehe. better take more photos during Relief Society hahahaa.... maybe a video next time! jk..sorta..

  8. at least you have a million other babies in there with him, because in our ward, there are only a few... and one woman gives EVIL stares if your baby makes a peep. It makes me feel horrible. (she doesn't have any children of her own, and is a little older now...but she could at least be nice!)
