On Monday morning Veronica, Mariah, Fox, and I went to Disneyland. The husbands are in school alllllll day on Mondays and we get bored so what better way to make the day go by than at the happiest place on earth?
Fox looks a little, um, silly (?) but 3 out of 4 looking at the camera ain't bad!
I took Fox on Dumbo the Flying Elephant for the first time. Centrifugal force is a beast.
Weeeee!
The view from our Dumbo.
I love how the screen has prompts for the Cast Members to read. I bet after a few days they know it by heart.
This was Fox's first time on the King Arthur Carrousel. This ride also goes around and around and around. And around and around and around. Maybe that's why we've never gone on it before, hehe.
Riding Winnie the Pooh. Not for the first time :) But maybe the last according to Fox's expression? Ha!
A FOX!
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.
And the perfume!
Aren't these cool looking bottles?
I put my diet on hold to indulge in this tasty steak gumbo bread bowl. I figure I burned off enough calories walking a hundred miles to cancel this out.
We headed over to California Adventure to see how long the wait was for the brand new Little Mermaid ride. It's almost impossible to see in this picture, but it says 75 minutes. Aw shucks. We definitely didn't wait for that.
We wore the babes out! This picture is going to be my favorite for a long time.
We passed through A Bug's Land to exit the park.
Everyone and their dog was at Disneyland. Literally!
Summer is definitely in full swing! I don't know how much we'll be going over the next few months until the crowds die down again. But Marlene says there's a Mary Blair exhibit (this link is to a YouTube video that's not mine, but it shows the show!) that we HAVE to go to before it ends.
It's always a fun adventure at Disneyland!
The sleeping kiddos is hilarious!
