Farewell Kauai! Hope we meet again someday!

We had a few minutes to spare before we needed to head out to the airport so we let Fox play on the floor. It's getting harder and harder to snap clear pictures of him cuz he's always squirmy wormy!

He's such a ham.

For some reason I could not get times right for the life of me. Chris and I weren't scheduled to take the same flight from Lihue to Honolulu. I thought Chris' flight left at 8:18 and mine left at 11am but when we got to the airport she said Chris' plane LANDS at 8:18 and left at 7:45. Luckily we got there just in the knick of time AND she waived the fee and let me get on the same flight with Chris. Granted we didn't even get to sit next to each other, but just knowing he was in the vicinity kept me sane. And it was only a 20 minute flight.

As the little plane took off I could see the lighthouse that we ventured out to on the first day!

We landed in Honolulu right on time.

This was the closest we got to the actual city. Hopefully some day we'll come back and tour Oahu!

I found a new favorite store, tee hee.

We had a 5 hour layover in Honolulu. Bahhhhhh. We stayed at our gate for a couple of hours and remained the only people there the entire time.

Fox was such a good boy and just played with his toys and made cute faces for me.

My dad flew in around lunch time so we met up with him and got some grub at Burger King then he had a major ice cream craving and got a scoop of Coldstone. We parted ways and at loooong last we got on our plane.

On the way home I finished watching the E! special about Taylor Swift (I totally have a new respect for her and admire her more than ever!) and then I watched a couple episodes of Glee and half of The Lake House.

We landed late Friday night and got home and unpacked everything because we were still on Hawaii time. I'm pretty sure this was my most favorite vacation ever.

  2. It looked like SOOO much fun! Fox is soooo cute - dude was in Old Town this weekend and saw the lil fox statue near Al Fornaio and thought - Paige has got to take a photo with him on or near it - if you haven't already!!! Thanks for sharing all your photos and letting me live vicariously through you!!

  3. You were all so patient to have to wait at the airport for so long! Fox is such a good little boy, though. He makes it too easy for you!
