Early in the morning Tom, Margi, Andy, and Chris did a session at the Denver temple. The rest of us stayed behind to watch the babies. Have I mentioned that Tom and Margi have 5 grandkids under the age of 5? They're a handful! But I love the quote on their family room wall that says, "Some of my greatest blessings call me Grandma."
Once they got home, we packed up all our gear and waited around in hopes that the mail would bring Nick's mission call, but alas, it didn't come so we drove into the mountains to the quaint town of Frisco. I went with Andy and Cami and smooshed myself between Avery and Drew.
Sweet Avery on my right.
And charming Drew on my left.
Fox and Luke sat in the middle with Andy and the wheel and Cami beside him.
The family cabin we rented for the week was absolutely perfect.
Here's the inside. Chris, Fox, and I stayed in the suite at the top; Bethany and Evelynd shared a room behind the kitchen; Andy, Cami, and Luke shared the other room behind the kitchen; Tom, Margi, Nick, Avery, and Drew stayed in the bunks in the basement; Jay slept on the couch. We all fit snug as a bug in a rug!
We ate dinner, played games, and enjoyed the fresh mountain air out on the deck.
I'll end this awesome day on a happy note:
:)
That last picture of Fox is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWowza. That cabin looks amazing. I really like cabins with roofs like that. Fox=the cutest little boy ever!
