Chris went to the doctor Wednesday morning. Still not sure what was going on, but we'll just blame it on the altitude. While he was gone I took Fox on a walk up and down Main Street.
I thought of my little sister when I saw this glass blowing shop. Once upon a time she wanted to be a glass blower.
Soooooo cool!
Nothing was opened yet so I just looked through the windows and admired.
I saw so many pretty flower arrangements! Here are my faves.
I love the texture of this cork wall.
Teehee. The next "Page".
Note to self: make some of these yarn-wrapped letters.
The activity of the day was to drive up to Vail Pass and ride bikes down to our cabin. The trail was literally in the backyard of the cabin so no pick up was required. There are some amazing views at the beginning.
Giving Washington a run for its money as far as trees are concerned!
We took a little break in the scenic ski town of Copper Mountain.
Back in 2004 Chris and I did this very same bike ride.
Who knew 7 years later we'd be back, only this time we'd be married and have a son?
Here's a side-by-side, cuz they're fun.
I'd like to live in a ski town some day.
We took this lift ride 7 years ago, but didn't repeat the adventure today. Still cool to see though!
Fox was a trooper in the trailer. He eventually fell asleep.
Fox had this blank stare for a lot of the ride which we affectionately called his "Ames face" - as in the same face Ames had when Ashley sent him home on The Bachelorette, lol.
Riding along.
Construction on a bike trail? There were even workers holding "slow" and "stop" signs!
We stopped at a bridge so Nick and Jay could be crazy and jump into the ice cold river.
Smooth moves!
And thus concludes day 3 of the annual Evans family reunion!
Amazing photos! I would love to see scenery like this! :)
