Friday morning was checkout day so we ran around like chickens with their heads cut off (I've never actually seen that phenomenon, thank goodness, but I heard it's a crazy sight) finding our belongings strewn about the cabin and packing 'em in and moving 'em out. Before we all went our separate ways I wanted to get some family shots!
EVANS FAMILY REUNION 2011
Jay, Nick, Tom, Margi, Avery, Evelynd, Bethany, Fox, Chris, Paige, Cami (plus baby due in February - congrats!), Andy, Luke, Drew. Only missing Peter.
Then I wanted to get a picture of the grandparents with their five grandchildren. Much easier said than done! These are the best we got:
And then we wanted a picture of just the grandchildren! Lots of funny noises and randomly bursting into song ensued to get these babies:
We drove back to Denver with a stop at McDonald's to get a cheap burger and delicious cookies (thanks Bethany!). We got settled and then went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner to celebrate Tom and Margi's 39th wedding anniversary. For some reason unbeknownst to me I neglected to take pictures. We watched the movie Source Code to wrap up a fun day!
I really liked the movie, maybe we'll add it to our selection.
Saturday morning we bid farewell to a wonderful week and headed back to LA. Fox has now been on 18 flights with no more in sight. Thank goodness. We're ready to be home for more than a few weeks at a time!
Can't wait until next year when Bethany and Peter are in charge of the reunion which'll take place in Oregon!
It was a fun week but it sure is good to be home!

ReplyDeleteI love the family photos. Those pictures of all the kids is the best!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I thought I felt some Paige vibes in my state! You mentioned you were in Copper Mountain, my hubby did a job there last month!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had lots of fun w/ your family... and Fox has been on more flights than I have in my entire life!
