The time finally came to get Fox's hair cut. It was outta control and always in his eyes. Last Friday was the big day.
BEFORE
Golden, luscious, curly locks.

What did he want to do when he walked into the garden court of Jamie's apartment complex? Play in the water of course!
Swoon.
DURING
We had to pull out all the stops: pacifiers, bottles, little toys. He squirmed for a bit, especially when water was getting sprayed on his head (from the boy who loves water, ha!), but all-in-all I'd say he was pretty gosh darn good!

COMPARISON
We definitely only wanted the barest, most minimal trim because we love his hair. Most notably his "wings" are shorter, it's all over a little bit shorter, but he still looks like a little SoCal boy so we're happy! Thanks Jamie, you did a fantastic job!

And yes I saved a bit of his chopped locks to put in his scrapbook. Layout coming soon :)
Aww. He's a doll! That didn't hardly count as a haircut though ;)
ReplyDeleteyou are too funny. his hair looks great, adorable as always. how's teething coming along?? :)
ReplyDeleteOh thank goodness...you scared me with title of post. I love his haircut! So glad you didn't chop those precious curls off!
ReplyDeleteI remember Alex's first haircut, he did so well! Now he's a little monster, lol. My hair stylist friend used to cut his hair but he was getting to be a handful. So now I cut his hair, and I always have to make sure that a "choo choo" (Thomas) movie is on so he stays focuses on that while I'm snipping away. He does really well and I save some money doing it myself. :)
ReplyDeleteAWWWWW! Fox is so cute! He looks cute before and after!!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! He still has luscious locks and it's not in his eyes.
ReplyDeletefirst, i'm so glad you kept his curls! i am so jealous your baby has such amazing hair!
ReplyDeletesecond, i'll admit that i one million percent hate when parents leave these sorts of comments buuuuttttttt, (and feel free to delete this) i'm pretty sure the car seat chest clip is supposed to be up higher on the chest, right even with the armpits. i'm really lax when it comes to my kid eating crap off the floor and whatever but i'm just a wee bit nazi about car seats. soooo, i sincerely apologize for being one of THOSE parents that leaves THOSE comments. please forgive me!
What a darling boy!
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate your comment Carrie! I had no idea the strap thingy was supposed to be up higher and I'd rather be safe than sorry!
ReplyDeleteOH he looks soooo sweet! :> We do haircuts for our little boy in the bathtub! Works so well! :>
ReplyDeleteHe'd look cute even if he had no hair at all!
ReplyDeleteI used to always say "cutest baby ever!," but now with his new grown up haircut I think I have to upgrade him to Most Handsome Boy Ever!
ReplyDeletei'm so glad you kept it long. he is so dang cute!
ReplyDeleteI can't see any difference.
ReplyDeleteOkay...It isn't too bad. I LOVE His curls!
