The One with Fox's Art

Saturday, April 7, 2012

I love art. Chris loves art. We both graduated with BAs in some art-ish thing - me in Art Education and Chris in Art History. We love art. Therefore, we're trying to instill a love for art in Fox while he's young and impressionable. We got him a set of crayons for Christmas and have been trying to teach him how to color. He's gradually learning that crayons aren't food and putting crayon to paper instead of crayon to mouth. Here are his first masterpieces, with a little bit of our help:

  1. Did you ever see the movie "My Kid Could Paint That?" That's what this makes me think of.

  2. SOOOOOOO adorable! LOVE each picture--but the compositions are my fav! I esp. love that last one--probably because it makes me think of that little book where the child colors with purple all over the walls/etc. Not sure what it's called....but I LOVE it:) Give Fox some hugs for a great job on coloring:)

  6. Really? Really. I had to suffer through terrible coloring outside the lines by Fox as I skimmed through looking for my birthday wish just to be let down and left out. Paige, I thought we were tighter!
