Aaaaand, at 23 months and a vocabulary of over 100 words Fox FINALLY says "Mommy"! Music to my ears!
I'm trying not to be too sad that I came after words like "Ew" and "Chris". He's been saying "Daddy" for months and he even knows his dad's NAME but he wouldn't say Mommy!!?!?! Oh well, now he can, so I'm a happy mommy :)
Ha, don't be sad. He was just waiting for the perfect moment to spring it on you ;)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear all of these words!
hehe cute!
ReplyDeleteYay for him saying "Mommy"! I also love the "Infinity" and "Beyond". So cute!!
ReplyDeleteYou made the cut babe! Welcome to the big leagues!
ReplyDeleteI always wondered why my kids said MOMMY way after other words and just told myself they didn't need because I was always there for them. Loved the day when they did and now I sometimes wished they'd stop saying mommy.
ReplyDeleteI feel you! My oldest was speaking in full sentences. She even called me "Hey You!" before she uttered "Mom". She was over 2 years old.
ReplyDeleteTHATS AWESOME!! CAN HE SAY PAIGE?
ReplyDeleteawwww that's so sweet...glad you have it recorded in order so you can remind him of that when he gets older and all you hear is Mom, mom, mom, mom,,,,,,lol
ReplyDeleteHa! Silly boy! Happy he finally figured it out!
ReplyDeleteThat's AWESOME!!! Glad to hear it!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! So cute!
ReplyDeleteHeeeee! YAY! I need to do this for Hattie and keep up with it! LOL. I think she has 12 words now! :-D
ReplyDeleteIt's funny what different kids are exposed to -- Evelynd doesn't say PEZ, but "harp" was one of her first words. How many parents can say either or those words for their kids?
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!! That's great!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!! That's great!
ReplyDeleteYeah...that's awesome! My lil guy's first word was "dada" so I feel ya hehe :)
ReplyDeleteso happy for you! mommy is a sweet sound isn't it ? :)
