The One with One Amazing Albums

Saturday, September 8, 2012

Every year (2009, 2010, 2011) I blog about all the albums that have been published in my monthly article in Scrapbook Trends called One Amazing Album. Today I'm going to post the albums published from December 2011 - November 2012.

But first, a little bit about what this article is: In December of 2006 I was asked to write a monthly column in Scrapbook Trends called One Amazing Album. Every month since then, as I'm looking through submissions if I see a mini album that particularly catches my eye, I email the submitter and ask if I can use her album for my article. Or, if I can't find anything, I'll email a favorite submitter and request they make an album just for the article - what a treat! A week or two later the album arrives in the mail and I hold onto it until my deadline. After writing the article I email it to Kate who edits it and makes it sound good and then the album gets shipped off to photography by Katie and Kristy who make it look good. A few months later, the album gets sent back to the creator and the article magically appears in the magazine, thanks to Linda. It's always fun to see my face and name in print every month :)

So, back to the point of this post, here are the One Amazing Album intro pages from December 2011 - November 2012:
