If this is posting that means the world didn't end - phew!
We didn't want to haul our presents to and from Washington for Christmas so we had Christmas Part One yesterday morning!

Fox would open one present and become so enamored with it he didn't care about opening the next!
He'll perfect the art of opening presents in no time, I'm sure.
After faux-Christmas we headed to Griffith Park to take Fox on the pony and train rides. I went there a few weeks ago for Beck's 2nd birthday with just baby Jane because Fox was sick and I knew he'd have a blast. But first we had to eat lunch on the benches in the warm sunshine.
Fox was so excited to see so many horses! He was hoisted right onto the horse without a single fuss. It could have gone one of two ways - great or horrible - and I'm so happy it went great!
And he's off!
He glanced back at us to make sure everything was A-OK!
He was laughing and saying, "So fun!" and "Horse!" the entire ride. What a funny guy. Aren't you proud Margi/Nana? :)
Family shots!
Refreshmant stand.
Then we hustled over to the train ride.
All aboard! Chugga-chugga-choo-choo!
We didn't do so well with the "keep your hands inside the train" bit...
The train weaved through the beautiful park and some weird set up scenes.
We all had a blast but especially Fox. We're definitely gonna have to go back!
