I had a layout go up on the American Crafts blog yesterday!
MERRY CHRISTMAS 2012
Journaling says: This year we took the kids to sit on Santa's lap and take pictures at the SANTA Anita Mall in Arcadia, CA. No hesitations from either child, they fit right in Santa's outstretched arms. They've been very good this year so I hope Santa bring them everything on their wishlist!
How to: Die cut a bunch of ornaments from patterned paper (I used the Kringle and Co line by American Crafts) then piece them together on a ledger paper background. Double up on some of the ornaments then straight stitch down each row. Die cut a sentiment from white cardstock then adhere it over a photo on the bottom right corner. Embellish around the photo with a Christmas tree die cut topped with a star sticker, chipboard number stickers, a stamped date, "Dear Santa" card, and brown spray mist. Add stickers, jewels, and pearls to a few of the die cut ornaments. Write journaling on a few kraft ornament die cuts then adhere them with pop dots over other kraft ornaments already stitched in place.
Supplies: Cardstock, patterned paper, die cuts (Christmas tree, "Dear Santa"), stickers (Christmas tree, deer, gingerbread man, numbers, peppermint, presents, snowflake, star, words), pen, date stamp, ink, adhesive: American Crafts; Jewels, pearls: Pebbles; Spray mist: Studio Calico; Die cut machine (Cameo), dies (ornament, sentiment): QuicKutz; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark
