SUNDAY DECEMBER 30TH 2012
I woke up with a headache so I opted out of going to church while my family took the kids with them - what a nice deed!

The sun came out!

For dinner my mom made the delicious yummy tacos again - why change a good thing?

MONDAY DECEMBER 31ST 2012
Leaving the house once a day is an accomplishment in my eyes whilst vacationing! Errand of the day: TARGET.

I'll take one of each please!

As we walked outside we were welcomed by this stunning sunset. It looks like a watercolor!

To ring in the New Year I coveted my sister's washi tape collection. That makes no sense, but whatevs :)
Photobucket
I was asleep by 10:30pm and was woken up by fireworks at midnight. Happy New Year!

TUESDAY JANUARY 1ST 2013
Our one outing of the day included Panera Bread for lunch. I'd never been there before and found it quite tasty!

We passed the strip mall where Yesterday's Scrapbooking & Stuff used to be (where I got my very first job and became hooked to scrapbooking 9 years ago!). Looks like whatever it was after Yesterday's is out of business now too.

My dad enjoyed his last day of freedom by washing and vacuuming all the cars. His jeep is like his 4th unofficial child :)

THURSDAY JANUARY 3RD 2013
I had to wake up at the crack of dawn to get myself and the little ones ready to fly home! It was another beautiful day in Washington. Blue skies as far as the eye could see.
Photobucket
We checked our bags and got through security without a hitch. Then we had an hour and a half to kill. Fox stared out the windows at the airplanes while I nursed Jane and ate some breakfast.
Photobucket
Entertainment for a 4 hour flight (2 hours to Las Vegas, an hour on the plane while people de-board then re-board, and another hour to Burbank).
Photobucket
We saw some beautiful snow covered volcanoes. Not sure which one this is. Updated - of course Dald knows :) It's Mt. St. Helens - the coolest one!
Photobucket
Lake Tahoe (in the top left corner).
Photobucket
As we started descending into Las Vegas, Fox fell asleep.

Clutching his dog toy.
Photobucket
Jane was an angel.
Photobucket
All things considered, I'd say Fox and Jane did really well on the plane. The iPad definitely helps.

Now we're home trying to play catch up and get back into our daily routine! We had such a fun time in Washington with family. Fox walks around and says, "Buh bye Eric! Buh bye Allie!" He loves and misses them. I do too!

  1. I bet that volcano is Mount St. Helens. Notice the side is blown out down to the Toutle River.
