I know it's not my wedding, so it's not really my project to share, but since Allie stole my thunder with her birthday (hers is May 27th and mine is May 28th) I'm going to steal this :)
Allie found these giant LOVE letters on Pinterest via Green Wedding Shoes.
She decided she wants some at her wedding reception and drew a sketch:
She passed the sketch along to our dad, a self-taught carpenter (and an amazing one at that!) and he's been spending his spare time constructing said ginormous wooden LOVE letters.
They look AWESOME!!! I believe they'll be showcased front and center on this stage at the Happy Valley Grange where her reception will be in just a couple months:
Good thing Pinterest wasn't around when I got married. Things probably would have gotten carried away!
your dad is amazing. also i am planning to crash allie's reception (since it is right down the street) so i can see you -- and these awesome letters. just fair warning ;)
