The One with the Epic Scrapbook Purge of 2013

Wednesday, April 3, 2013

There's going to be a weight limit with how much stuff we can bring to Germany. I think my scrapbook supplies alone would take up most of our weight allotment! Therefore, it's time to PURGE (again...)! Anything that I haven't used that has been in my stash longer than 4 months is going! That means about 90% is going, going, gone! There are even brand new things that I know I'm not going to use from the latest CHA releases. Hopefully my "trash" is your "treasure" because I'm doing flat-rate goodie boxes again :)

Here's how they came together:
First, I went through all my stuff and did the main purging.
Oodles and oodles of patterned paper and layered stickers!

Hundreds of packs of Thickers!
Then I divided the patterned paper into piles to begin the boxes. There are brands like American Crafts, Crate Paper, Studio Calico, Hambly, Pebbles, Jillibean Soup, Jenni Bowlin, Basic Grey - all the bigwigs!
Then I piled on the Thickers.
Next, I cleared off the table and started again with piles of embellishments, stamps, doilies, ribbon, and more more more!
Lastly, I took a picture of the contents of every single kit, here are JUST A FEW of them:
 IN EVERY KIT:
- at least (25) sheets of whole patterned paper and/or cardstock plus about a dozen sheets that are missing bits and pieces
- (4) packs of Thickers (1 is whole, the rest may or may not have letters missing)
- (1) stamp set (from a brand like American Crafts, Basic Grey, Heidi Swap, Close To My Heart, etc.)
- a transparency (may have bits missing) from Hambly (I wish they were still around, so these are now retired and hard to find!)
- a stack of doilies
- a dash of Elle's Studio die cuts
- (1) ribbon spool
- a big handful of flower/chipboard embellishments
- stickers, stickers, and more stickers!

I'm selling each box'o'goodies for $40 - that includes priority shipping!
1 box for $40
2 boxes for $70
3 boxes for $90
4 boxes for $100

  10. Okay, so I have a TON of scrapbook stuff that I couldn't take to NY, obviously, and I tried to sell it with very little luck. It's all in our storage unit in Omaha! Boo. I want/need so bad to package it all and sell it Paige style. I'll use this post as a reference of how to do it and what to charge. I WISH I could sell it all because we SO need the money right now. I have a ton of albums, ribbon, thickers and rub ons. If you know anyone who wants more stuff send them my way!

Geesh, can you tell I'm playing blog catch up today?

PS-I spy with my little eye some Moda Bella paper I designed ;)
