The main reason for our trip to Utah was Jay and Haylie's wedding! They planned it right at this time so that we could go - any earlier and Chris would be at bootcamp, any later and we'd be in Germany. I'm so glad we got to go!
Before meeting inside the temple at 12:15pm we stopped at Cafe Rio for lunch. Mmmmm delicious!
I've been seeing a lot of deer lately!
I've been seeing a lot of deer lately!
If you follow me on Instagram one of my more recent pics was a deer outside my parent's house with the caption "There's a deer just outside eating fruit from the orchard!" - that's a FRIENDS reference, FYI.
Jay and Haylie chose the beautiful Bountiful Temple to get sealed in for time and all eternity.
Bethany was feeling well enough to attend. Here's baby Ethan lounging in the grass.
The sealing was perfect. I cried and cried and cried out of happiness for Jay and Haylie. It was a long time coming for those two!
While we waited outside for Jay and Haylie's grand exit, I handed Jane over to Tom and she instantly fell asleep! He's got a magic shoulder.
Haylie's colors were coral and gray. Coincidentally the other wedding party there was wearing coral. It was the color of the day!
Waiting outside.
This is so typical of Jay and Haylie. Here they are, a married couple, hooray!
Congrats to the newest Mr. and Mrs. Evans.
View of the valley below.
We immediately gathered to start taking pictures in every combination possible. Here is Haylie and all of her friends. I love all the pops of color.
How precious is this? Jay and Haylie are in love and kissing, oblivious to the chaos around them.
The Evans family! Just missing Nick who's on a mission in Mexico - he gets back just before Christmas this year.
Such pretty flowers all around the temple grounds.
I call this: Birth Control.
The original Evans kids, sans Nick.
After pictures we went to Yogurtland for a cool treat then our little family headed back to Katy and Steve's for a couple hours. Fox and Jane played away! I love watching them play together - it's a rare treat.
The reception was at This Is the Place Heritage Park.
The weather was quite ominous but it made for pretty pictures!
Gorgeous flower decorations galore.
Haylie's favorite thing is cookies so there was a yummy cookie bar.
Jay's favorite thing is taco trucks, so yes, there was a taco truck!
The reception was wonderful, again I cried during the toasts and speeches.
I'm so happy to have a new sister-in-law and Fox and Jane love their new Aunt Haylie! Congrats Jay and Haylie! Hope you have fun in Bora Bora!
Congrats to Jay and Hailey! They make a super cute couple.
