I've been wanting the Persimmon collection by BasicGrey ever since I laid eyes on it. I mean, who wouldn't??
My mom was at her local Ben Franklin (or, "the BF" as we called it when I worked at the little local scrapbook store called Yesterdays because they pretty much put us out of business, wah wah) a couple weeks ago and asked if I needed anything. Well, as long as you're asking! I told her to look for the Persimmon line and lo' and behold, she found it! And got it for me :) THANKS MALM!!!! I.O.U!!!
The package of goodies arrived on Wednesday and I couldn't wait to make a layout with it. Persimmon screams fall! I don't have any fall pictures from this year yet, but I do have some from last year just waiting to be scrapped. Check it out:

BEAUTY'FALL' by Paige Evans
Journaling says: What a perfect and fun day taking the kids to the colorful pumpkin patch in Carnation.
How to: Place a large doily mask on a robin's egg blue cardstock background then paint over it with white paint, remove the mask, and let it dry. Drop dark blue spray mist in three places around the layout to create a visual triangle. Punch leaves from patterned paper then place them in a ring around the middle of the layout to create a wreath. Tuck three gold leaf die cuts into the leaves, also creating another triangle. Add two photos inside the wreath. Tie a bow from wide orange grosgrain ribbon and place it at the top of the wreath. Make a title with orange letter stickers and gold glitter foam Thickers directly on the photos. Create clusters on the bottom left corner, left side of the photos, and the top right corner using label and pennant stickers, fabric brads, and leaf die cuts as shown. Journal on the bottom left corner.
Supplies: Cardstock, ribbon, pen, date stamp, adhesive: American Crafts; Patterned paper, fabric brads, die cut feathers, stickers (labels, pennants): BasicGrey; Letter stickers: American Crafts (gold glitter), BasicGrey (orange); Spray mist: Studio calico; Doily mask: Prima; Paint: Americana; Leaf punch: Fiskars
