The One with Jane's First Pigtails

One of the "firsts" I've been most looking forward to ever since we found out we were having a girl early last year just came to pass: Jane's first pigtails!


She shares in my enthusiasm, obvi.

From the back. It's kind of a hot mess. Bear with me, I'm still figuring out how to do hair!
 Of course as soon as I busted out the camera Fox wanted in on the action so I gave him my cheap li'l point-and-shoot and he starting snapping away too! Like mother like son :)
Nevermind that he's in a diaper - we're going on day two of potty training. But that's another post for another day... sigh...
"What ARE these things?"
BIIIIIIG girl!
"Hold the phone. I didn't sign up for this torture!"
Another first happened simultaneously - she stood up on her own!!!!!

    LOVE IT! I too loved the first piggies for my 2 girls. I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old, both girls. The next big question for me was to bangs or not to bangs... I have one of each... Love little girls and yours is super cute.

    Oh, she is so sweet! Btw, I sent your Budapest post to my grandmother (who is a Holocaust survivor from Hungary) and she was very excited to see all of the photos!
