It is my hope and dream to someday be as amazing as fellow Garden Girl - Wilna Furstenberg :) The way she uses art supplies like paint and watercolors and spray mist on her layouts is divine. I am so totally loving on these two fall-themed layouts she recently created. I'm pretty sure they're the inspiration behind my leaves-themed Scrap Your Stash video:

ReplyDeleteMy step father-in-law's stuffing is to die for! It is my favorite thing and other family members have requested turkey with all the trimmings for other events just so we can have more of Dick's stuffing! I love Thanksgiving so much and the stuffing is just like the icing on the cake!

My favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving is always Pumpkin Pie lol. I do agree that Wilna is amazing at using her art supplies but you are equally amazing at using paper on your layouts! I can't wait to see what comes from all of those beautiful leaves!

Loving all the leaf inspiration! Our leaves have all fallen now and I already miss the daily crunch as I walk the kids to school. We celebrate Thanksgiving in October up here in Canada but my favourite thing to eat is the leftovers! That may sound strange but I love having all that yummy turkey and trimmings around to make hot turkey sandwiches, turkey soup, turkey curry ... yum! Thanks for the chance to win a GC! Love 2Peas!!

ReplyDeleteSince we live in Puerto Rico, we have our take on the dessert..... It's made with pumpkin (of course😉), sweet potato, spices, coconut..... I'm drooling thinking about it. And my mothers does it only ONCE a year, for thanksgiving, so that is definitively it!

My favorite Thanksgiving food is so hard to pick. I think I'm going to go with pie. I love everything about the traditional meal but I have special memories of my great grandma baking tons of pies to hand out to the family at Thanksgiving.

ReplyDeleteIt used to be my dad's stuffing, but since he's passed on, no one can replicate! So now it's scalloped corn...and turkey...and cranberries! So lucky that Thanksgiving only comes but once a year, I would weigh so much!
