2 HAPPY by Paige Evans
Description: I used the same moodboard as my children-themed "inspired" layout that went up a couple weeks ago. I had a whole punch of printables and cuts leftover and put a few more to good use on this layout. As always, I wanted to use as many patterned papers as I could and was completely inspired by one of the papers in the new Maggie Holmes line by Crate Paper called Styleboard and wanted to replicate it with my own choice of patterned papers.
Journaling says: Oh you two. Where do I even begin? It is so fun to watch you interact and play with each other. You're so cute!
How to: Use the B-side of the "Blissful" paper in the Styleboard by Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper as a template to trim the corners from patterned papers and make 1/4" wide arrows/chevrons/photo corners, whatever shape you want to call them. Arrange the papers on a robin's egg blue cardstock background then stitch them down. Layer the 2Peas exclusive printables, a photo, "happy" badge, tab with the date stamped on it, "2" die cut, mini alphabet stickers, vellum doily die cut, and more, on the center of the layout. Journal with a white pen on the top and bottom between two arrows. Drop light blue spray mist around the journaling.
Supplies: Cardstock, adhesive: American Crafts; Patterned paper: American Crafts, Crate Paper, Studio Calico; Badge, die cuts (label, number, vellum doily): Crate Paper; Mini alphabet stickers, spray mist: Studio Calico; Date stamp: October Afternoon; Ink: StazOn; Pen: Uniball Signo; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark; Die cut machine: Silhouette Cameo by QuicKutz; Leaf cut files: Wilna Furstenburg for 2Peas In a Bucket; Printables: Lisa Dickinson for 2Peas In a Bucket
