MESSY BUNS by Paige Evans
DESCRIPTION: I've been wanting to try this folded heart technique for awhile and decided to give it a whirl here using soft colors to match these darling photos of sweet Jane.
JOURNALING SAYS: You woke up after your nap with cute messy buns and the light was so pretty a photoshoot ensued!
HOW TO: Watercolor a light rainbow down a pink lined paper from the Special Delivery 12x12 Paper Pad by Pebbles then let it dry. Punch 2" hearts from Dear Lizzy 6x6 paper pads then fold each heart in half. Adhere the petals on a circle of scrap cardstock then sew a spiral on the center to keep the petals of each flower in place. Layer the flowers and photos down the page and stitch a line across the flowers. Add an embellishment to the center of each flower. Create a Thickers title and embellish with additional stickers, rub ons, chipboard, burlap bow, and more as shown. Write journaling and stamp the date the finish.
SUPPLIES: Cardstock, patterned paper, buttons, brads, rub ons, stickers (butterfly, star, words), Thickers, heart punch, burlap bow, roller date stamp, pen, adhesive: American Crafts; Chipboard (butterfly, hearts): Crate Paper; Stickpins: Craft supply; Watercolors: Mister Huey's by Studio Calico; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark
