The One with the Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop

Thursday, October 9, 2014

Paulina Nakamura of Pretty Pink Posh invited me to be apart of a special blog hop showcasing her latest and greatest supplies! I'd be honored, delighted, giddy, to participate :) I received her newest metal dies as well as an assortment of sequin packs a few weeks ago and had a blast creating a pair of layouts:

CHRISTMAS 2014 by Paige Evans

Description: For this layout I wanted to feature these stitched circles metal dies:

I picked up this adorable Christmas line - Silent Night by October Afternoon - while I was teaching at Scrapbook Werkstatt a couple weeks ago. I've gotta scrap my holiday photos from last year before this holiday season is upon is!

Journaling says: This is just so typical it could be in a magazine. What's wrong with Santa?!

How to: Die cut a set of stitched circles from the front and back side of each paper in the Silent Night collection. Place a round photo in the center of a robin's egg blue cardstock layout base then adhere the circles in four rings around the photo. Stitch the circles in place. Glue clear sequins around the first ring of circles and mint green sequins around the second ring of circles. Embellish a few of the circles with brads and chipboard shapes. Trim a border sticker in half and place the halves on the top and bottom layout edges along with a chipboard holly sticker. Add mini alphabet stickers around the top of the photo and edge it with chipboard photo corners. Place a sticker banner below the photo then journal on the bottom right corner.

Supplies: Stitched circles metal die, sequins: Pretty Pink Posh; Cardstock, adhesive: American Crafts; Patterned paper, brads, chipboard, stickers: October Afternoon; Pen: Uniball Signo; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark; Die cut machine: Cuttlebug by Provo Craft

Description: I also received this set of stitched tag metal dies, too adorable right?
Journaling says: I love my two handsome boys! You're pretty much twins, so cute!

How to: Die cut tags from the Boys Rule collection by Crate Paper then place them across the middle of a patterned paper layout base. Place small photos with pop dots over the tags. Embellish most of the rest of the tags with die cuts, stickers, sequins, wood veneer, and more. Journal on a label and tuck it under a tag. Drop blue spray mist over the top left and bottom right corners.

Supplies: Stitched tags metal dies, sequins: Pretty Pink Posh; Patterned paper, patterned vellum, chipboard, die cuts, wood veneer: Crate Paper; Spray mist: Studio Calico; Pen, adhesive: American Crafts; Die cut machine: Cuttlebug by Provo Craft
