GRATEFUL by Paige Evans

Description: Rolling patterned paper into tubes is one of my favorite techniques! With the new Stitched line by Amy Tangerine I sat down and got to rollin' to create this sunburst background.

Journaling says: I'm so grateful for these two little humans and the blessing they are in my life. They make my life worth living and every day is a new kind of adventure. They are my everything, Fox & Jane.

How to: Roll about (50) 5" patterned paper tubes. Trace a round object in the center of a robin's egg blue cardstock layout base then edge the circle with super sticky double-sided tape. Place the tubes around the circle of tape in a sunburst. Sew three times around the center to keep the papers in place permanently. Punch a photo into a 2" circle and adhere it to the center. Stitch a chipboard Thickers title around the bottom curve and embellish with die cuts, puffy stickers, transparency stickers, epoxy dots, fabric stickers, and more. Drop white acrylic paint around the layout. Journal above four paper tubes.

Supplies: Cardstock, patterned paper, chipboard, Thickers, stickers, die cuts, pen, adhesive: American Crafts; Sewing machine: Brother; Thread: Coats & Clark; Paint: FolkArt
