The One with the DIY Paper Ornament

Wednesday, November 19, 2014

I have a li'l step-by-step tutorial to share today showing how to make this paper ornament!
First, gather your supplies: some festive patterned papers, a 3" square punch, scissors, adhesive, and holiday-themed stickers.
Punch (12) 3" squares from your favorite patterned papers.
 Place adhesive along one edge.
Fold opposite corners together to create a cone.
Finished cone!
Start an assembly line to smooth the process and place adhesive on all the squares.
 Fold 12 cones.
Make a circle of scrap paper.
Adhere the cones to the circle.
Embellish the center with stickers and die cuts and glue a string to the back for hanging.
Now you have a cute, super-easy-to-make, only-took-10-minutes, ornament that could double as a neighbor gift!
Merry (almost!) Christmas!
