Christmas markets in Bavaria? I don't know if there's anything more magical. Our town is so small and cute it even warrants horse-drawn carriages through the streets.
Window shopping to the max!Grafenwöhr had it's Christmas market last Saturday. Most bigger city Christmas markets are every day or at least every weekend from Thanksgiving until Christmas, but this one was only this one day for three hours. We had to go of course!
We don't buy ornaments every place we visit (just magnets) so we mostly just go for the ambiance and for making memories.
There was one little ride for kids so Fox and Jane hopped on and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
These two. Love them.
Cute booths.
Chris got a meat sandwich thing that was really flavorful.
Close up.
I told Chris I wanted to get a wreath for our front door from this market and had been looking forward to it all week. I was sooo happy when he let me splurge a bit and get the big and pretty wreath :)
Chris teaching Jane about the nativity.
Christmas in Bavaria can't be beat :)
Hoping to make it to a few more Christmas markets (Weihnachtsmarkts) this year!
How fun!! LOVING all the photos!! The kids on the ride is so adorable!!! And PS ... I don't know if you use AMEX or not, but I read yesterday that AIRBNB is now going to utilize Membership Rewards ... some kind of partnership with AMEX -- I will try and get more details if you are interested :)
