The One with Elvis in Grafenwöhr

I may have mentioned it once or twice before, but it's a fun piece of trivia: Elvis Presley was stationed here in Germany in 1958 and he sung in a bar that is now our church building.





Here is little Miss Jane dancing in front of the bar-turned-church.
Wouldn't it be awesome to travel back in time a couple decades to see Elvis perform in the town we now live in?!

    Isn't it amazing to look at these photos...and be reminded that at that age Elvis still felt that he would live a long time. Still the best voice ever.

    What a memory to have. When we went to Graceland I found the small area about his military adventures the most interesting, but sadly the last visited part.

    A COUPLE of decades?? Elvis was there nearly 6 decades ago! His 80th birthday was a few days ago according to my local NPR station. But a fun place to be for your family--and ironic that the bar is now an LDS meetinghouse!
