I've made 21 layouts in the past 8 days... and this is the only one I can share if you can believe it! Can't wait to reveal what I've been up to!! :) Here's my latest Ali Edwards Digital Creative Team layout:
THE BEST TIME IS WITH YOU by Paige Evans
Description: Lots of ideas came to mind when I saw these "Awesome Story 3x4 Cards" by Ali Edwards: should I die cut them all using a Silhouette CAMEO and back them with patterned papers like I love to do? Should I stitch one? Spray mist over one? In the end, stitching won :)
Journaling says: It's true - I just love being your mom. How did I get so lucky?

How to: Turn the "THE BEST TIME IS WITH YOU" title from the "Awesome Story 3x4 Cards" by Ali Edwards into a cut file using the trace function then die cut it from any color of cardstock (it doesn't matter, I just used it as a template) using a Silhouette CAMEO. Peel off the die cut cardstock, center it over white cardstock, the poke a hole about every 1/4" around the inside of each letter. Back stitch through each letter, using a different color of thread for each letter (20 colors total). Truth: it took 4 hours to stitch this. Punch a photo into a 2" circle, layer it over a chipboard sticker, then adhere it inside the "O" at the bottom center. Embellish with color-on-color embellishments to add life and texture to the layout. Stitch a small piece of colorful patterned paper across the top and bottom edges. Journal on a blue tag and tuck into the bottom edge.
