Great challenge! I've been scrapbooking for exactly two years now! I mean, I have started hoarding all kinds of scrapbook products already about 1 year before, but it was NSD 2013 when all the challenges and inspiration out there actually made me create my first LO! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous page - love all those colors. AC does always supply us with such happy colors. I started back in in 2000 but didn't get serious about it until 2009 when I started blogging and found all the online community.

ReplyDeleteOh, what a beautiful page! I have been scrapping about 14 years now. I can't believe it's been that long, but yes, it has! I was trying to remember when I started and it was shortly before my oldest daughter got married 14 years ago. I made a wedding scrapbook featuring her husband and her growing up and their friends' memories. Techniques and things have changed, but that book is irreplaceable! Now I'm scrapping her four children too!

I still have my albums from college and my first job - all magnetic albums with bits of souvenirs and stuff tucked in - and that was '91! But I remember making the switch to patterned paper and "traditional" scrapbooking back when my son was a baby...so it's been at least since '99! Happy NSD!

I actually started scrapbooking after my father passed away. I wanted to do something special for my mom to remember him by... so I made a scrapbook. I started making my first album in 2008 but I truly embraced scrapbooking last year when I started learning all new techniques and included more dimensional embellishment to my layouts. This opened a whole new world for me and now I absolutely love scrapbooking. Thanks for sharing.

I fell in love with the idea of scrapbooking a couple of years back and consulted my friends but we all agreed that it was an expensive hobby (I was still schooling.) But now I subscribe to the belief that I don't need lots of embellishment to scrapbook and is currently having a good time scrapbooking!
